How much is the insurance fee?
For EMS, packages that are worth up to 20,000 yen are eligible for compensation even if you haven't paid for extra insurance.
Above that, insurance will cost 50 yen for every 20,000 yen interval.
For example, it will cost 50 yen for packages worth be 40,000 yen; and it will cost 100 yen for packages worth be 60,000 yen.
You can choose to purchase extra insurance when selecting EMS as the shipping method.

※Regarding SAL, AIR and Surface parcels, there are no insurance programs. Thus, if those packages get lost or damaged during shipment, it would be hard to receive corresponding compensation.
